We are happy to welcome you to Long Beach Lodge Resort! As the health of our staff, guests, and community remains a top priority, we're taking steps to minimize transmission risks associated with COVID-19. Our safety protocols adhere to the Ministry of Health, BC Centre for Disease Control, and WorkSafe BC recommendations. We want to ensure that your Tofino experience is a safe and memorable one!
Before you book...
1. Check the local COVID-19 updates
The District of Tofino is working hard to keep the community updated as the COVID-19 situation develops. We are watching closely and adhering to Municipal and Provincial recommendations to ensure the health and safety of our staff, guests and community. 2. We ask that you self-assess prior to your much-anticipated trip to Tofino.
We're counting on you to protect the vulnerable in our community and to ensure we're not putting added pressures on our limited local health care staff and resources.
- Do any members of your party have the following symptoms of COVID-19: Fever, cough, difficulty breathing, diminished taste or smell, runny nose, fatigue or malaise, sore throat, muscle or body aches?
- Has any member of your party had contact with a confirmed or possible case of COVID-19 in the past 21 days?
- Has anyone in your party travelled outside of Canada in the past 14 days or had contact with anyone that has just returned to Canada from abroad?
YES? You may be required to self-isolate
If you responded YES to any of the points above, we kindly ask you call us to change your reservation to a later date until you can respond NO to these questions. There is no charge for changing your reservation.

For those of you who answered NO to the above questions and feel safe to move forward with booking, we ask that you review our new safety measures to keep the risk of COVID-19 transmission low.
New Resort Safe-Stay Measures...
Masks are required in all indoor public areas (exception once seated to dine).
Guest Services are available 24/7 and are easily reached by pressing 0 from your phone, by calling 250-725-2442, or by using our new messaging system (more information provided with your booking confirmation).
Fitness centre is open 6:00am to 11:00pm. Book a personal time-slot through the Surf Club between 8:00am to 7:00pm.
To minimize contact, housekeeping staff will not be permitted to enter your room during your stay but Guest Services will be available upon request for replenishment services.
Check-out at 10:00am is safe and convenient! Just press 0 from your phone, or call 250-725-2442, or by using our new messaging system. Simply leave your keys behind and we will email your receipt!

* Help us keep the beaches + boardwalks clean! With eateries having adapted services to ensure a safe dining experience, we ask that you help us keep the litter at bay by using receptacles provided (compost when you can) and avoid unnecessary packaging! Bring your reusable cutlery, straws, mugs, etc.
Call ahead to reserve your surf rentals or book a lesson. Our Surf Club crew members are available from 8am to 7pm daily.

Maintain physical distancing measures (6ft or 2m apart) at all times while on property, on the beaches, or in public spaces. Give ample room to others utilizing the multi-use path (MUP), on sidewalks, or in waiting lines.
Wash your hands regularly and be mindful of surfaces you are touching.
Cards/tap is the preferred method of payment by most businesses. For your convenience, all Lodge amenities may be charged to your room.
If you develop any COVID-19 symptoms during your stay, please call 811 & Guest Services for support.
We're seeing a rise in refuse on the beaches, paths, and around town. We ask that you help us keep the clutter at bay by using receptacles provided and avoid unnecessary take-out packaging when you can.
Be mindful of how your behaviour or actions may be perceived by others who may not know you're traveling in a family group. This is a difficult time for many and we ask that you avoid causing distress in others!
